Bonding Adhesive i-BONDING, light-curing, single-component, 5ml

The i-BONDING LCN adhesive is a 5th-generation, light-curing, single-component bonding system, designed for one-step application and compatible with wet bonding techniques. This bioinert product is intended exclusively for use in dental practices, under ambient temperatures between 18°C and 25°C. Size and composition: • Volume: 5 ml; • Methacrylate 55–95%; • Acetone 10–30%; • Conditioning agent 1–10%; • Co-initiator <5%; • Accelerator <1%; • Inhibitor <1%; • Photoinitiator <1%. i-BONDING LCN does not contain medicinal substances, human blood or plasma derivatives, tissues or cells of human or animal origin, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 722/2012. It is free from carcinogenic, mutagenic, reproductive-toxic substances or endocrine-disruptive agents. Features and performance: • 5th-generation light-curing adhesive; • Single-component, one-step application; • Bioinert, compatible with wet bonding technique; • Requires surface demineralization prior to application; • Light-curing time: 20 seconds; • Shear bond strength (enamel): 21.8 ± 2.4 MPa. Instructions for use: 1. Prepare the cavity as usual; prophylactic paste without oil is recommended. 2. Apply a demineralizing gel (e.g., i-GELN) for 15 seconds on dentin and 30 seconds on enamel, then rinse and dry. 3. Shake the bottle before each use. 4. Dispense the required amount of adhesive onto the mixing plate. 5. Apply 2–3 layers of adhesive with a dry micro-applicator. 6. Air-dry for 10–20 seconds to remove the solvent. 7. Light cure for 20 seconds with an LED lamp (1200 mW/cm²). 8. Apply the light-curing restorative material (e.g., i-LIGHTN, i-XCITE LCN, i-FLOWN). Clinical indications: • Bonding between dentin/enamel and light-curing restorative materials; • Suitable for compomers and ceramic surfaces; • Enhances restoration retention. Contraindications: • Patients with severe allergies or reactions to the product’s ingredients. Combination reactions: • Not to be used with products containing eugenol, as it may interfere with the curing process. Possible side effects: • Allergic or irritative reactions on skin, eyes, mucosa, or respiratory tract in susceptible individuals.
