CHLORAXID 5.25% Root Canal Rinsing Solution, 200ml

CHLORAXID 5.25% is a liquid solution designed for root canal rinsing and disinfection, with the active ingredient sodium hypochlorite (5.25% active chlorine). The product is used in dentistry for irrigation during endodontic procedures.

Composition:
• Sodium hypochlorite (5.25% active chlorine);
• Purified water.

Features:
• Liquid solution for rinsing and disinfecting root canals;
• Contains 5.25% active chlorine in the form of sodium hypochlorite;
• Lytic effect on both necrotic and vital tissue, dissolving the organic part of the smear layer;
• Penetrates hard-to-reach areas of the root canal;
• Possesses purgative and whitening properties on dental hard tissue.

Dental applications:
• Removal of necrotic pulp remnants during mechanical instrumentation;
• Cleansing of the canal and elimination of dentinal debris;
• Exposure of dentinal tubule orifices, preparing the canal for root canal filling;
• Prevention of tooth discoloration that may occur after root canal obturation;
• Supplied with an adaptor for solution withdrawal into a syringe.

Instructions for use:
• Introduce CHLORAXID 5.25% into the canal using a syringe with a side-vented needle;
• Rinse each canal with approximately 10 ml of solution;
• Sodium hypochlorite becomes inactive upon contact with organic matter; as concentration decreases, longer rinsing time and larger amounts of solution are required.

Safety instructions:
• Do not inject under strong pressure to avoid irritation of periapical tissues;
• Use with caution in case of perforations;
• Irritant to oral mucosa, skin, and eyes;
• In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice;
• If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; drink plenty of water and contact a physician;
• Use rubber dam and protective equipment (goggles, mask, gloves);
• Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to product components;
• Rinse with saline solution between the use of sodium hypochlorite and chlorhexidine digluconate to prevent black precipitate formation.

Storage:
• Store in original container at 2-8 °C, tightly closed;
• Protect from direct sunlight;
• Keep out of reach of children;
• Expiry date indicated on the main packaging;
• Empty containers should be disposed of responsibly or returned to the manufacturer.
