The infusion system operates as a closed system, featuring a drip chamber with an integrated filter that prevents the release of chemical substances, vapors, and liquids into the surrounding environment. The PrimeStop cap within the Intrafix Primeline product group maintains closed system integrity in accordance with the NIOSH 2004 definition during use and drainage when the instructions for use are followed.
