ECG/EKG Electrodes
Single-Use ECG/EKG Electrodes for Clear Cardiac Recordings
An electrocardiograph delivers accurate results only when used with high-quality electrodes. ECG electrodes capture the heart’s electrical signals and transmit them to the device. Together with ECG/EKG and ultrasound gel, as well as ECG recording paper, they complete the range of consumables required for routine examinations in medical practices. They are widely used in family medicine, cardiology, and emergency care.
Why high-quality EKG electrodes matter:
- provide a stable signal without recording artifacts;
- feature strong adhesive that stays in place without irritating the skin;
- are compatible with most ECG/EKG devices;
- available in separate versions for adults and children.

How Often Should ECG Electrodes Be Replaced?
Single-use ECG electrodes should be replaced after every patient to prevent cross-contamination and ensure optimal signal quality. Over time, both the adhesive and conductive gel dry out, and reusing an electrode can result in poor contact and recording artifacts. For long-term monitoring, choose electrodes with hypoallergenic adhesive, check the expiration date, and keep the products in their sealed packaging until use.
