Principle of Operation:
The oximeter uses the experimental Lambert Beer law formula to process data, based on the spectral absorption characteristics of reduced hemoglobin (R Hb) and oxyhemoglobin (O2 Hb) in the visible and near-infrared light zones. Photoelectric oxyhemoglobin detection is combined with pulse measurement and recording technology to detect light signals at different wavelengths (660 nm and 940 nm) directed at the human fingernail. The information is displayed on LED screens through electrical circuits and a microprocessor.
