Description
Histological Paraffin with Polymers, 1kg, is a high-quality paraffin wax blend formulated for tissue embedding in histology, as well as pharmaceutical and lab analysis. This mixture of aliphatic hydrocarbons and 0.3% polymer additive ensures optimal plasticity and cutting performance. With a melting point between 56 °C and 58°C, the paraffin is shaped as solid white drops and undergoes triple filtration for superior purity. It is free of DMSO, making it suitable for use in modern histology processing systems. Technical details: • Packaging: 1 kg bag. • Melting point: 56–58°C. • Oil content: approx. 0.5%. • Needle penetration: 21 ± 3 dmm. • Viscosity (200°C): 3000 ± 500 Cps. • Fluidity index: 6 ± 1. • Form: Solid white drops. • Polymer-based plasticizer additive with transparent appearance and a typical smell. Medical and lab applications: • Tissue embedding in histological labs. • Pharmaceutical production and analysis. • Analytical reagent for lab procedures. Usage instructions and precautions: • Do not exceed 63°C - high heat reduces plasticity and may cause black residue or cracks. • Avoid thermal shock by maintaining the cooling plate at approximately. -5°C. • Extremely low temperatures (-15 / -20°C) can lead to block fractures. • Regularly check bath temperatures in both processing and embedding stations. Additional information: • Shelf life: 5 years. • Storage: Cool and dry (4-38°C), humidity up to 70%. Paraffin with Polymers offers consistent performance, excellent sectioning quality, and reliability for professionals working in histological sample preparation.
