Glass Ionomer Luting Cement i-FIX, 20g+10ml is a chemically activated, polymerizable glass ionomer luting cement, featuring high adhesion and excellent biocompatibility. Its bioinert composition, reduced film thickness, and good translucency make it suitable for a wide range of professional dental applications. Composition: • Fluoroaluminosilicate glass: 75-95%; • Water: 20-25%; • Polyacrylic acid: 5-25%; • Excipient: 0-2%; • Pigment: 0-1%. The product does not contain medicinal substances, human blood or plasma derivatives, human or animal tissues or cells, carcinogenic, mutagenic, reprotoxic substances, or endocrine-disrupting compounds, in compliance with Regulation (EU) No. 722/2012. Technical Features: • Type: chemically activated polymerizable glass ionomer luting cement; • Bioinert and biocompatible; • High adhesion to dentin, enamel, and non-precious alloys; • Film thickness: 15.4 μm; • Compressive strength: 126.1 MPa; • Good translucency; • Lead content: 0.17 mg/kg. Clinical Indications: • Luting of crowns, bridges, metallic and ceramic inlays and onlays; • Luting of orthodontic brackets and bands. Instructions for Use: 1. i-FIX is intended for use exclusively in dental practices, at ambient temperatures between 18 and 25 °C. 2. Prepare the surface as usual. For deep cavities, use a calcium hydroxide liner. 3. Mixing ratio: 1 level scoop of powder to 2 drops of liquid. Do not shake the powder bottle; hold the liquid bottle vertically. 4. Mix with a metal/plastic spatula on a glass or paper pad. Add powder in two steps, with a total mixing time of 30 seconds. 5. Keep the working field dry. Apply the mixed cement immediately. Total working time: 2 minutes. Remove excess cement immediately or after setting, but not during the seating phase (1.5-6 minutes). 6. Finishing of the restoration can be performed after 8 minutes from the start of mixing. Contraindications: • Patients with a history of severe allergies or reactions to any ingredient of the product.
