NaCl 0.9% Solution for nasal and ocular hygiene is a sterile single-dose solution, free of preservatives or buffering agents, designed for applications involving mechanical friction, making it suitable especially for individuals with sensitive eyes and nasal passages. The product is supplied in 20 vials of 5 ml each, ensuring precise dosing and hygienic handling. The 0.9% sodium chloride concentration ensures compatibility with sensitive tissues without the addition of other components. Main functions of the physiological saline: For contact lenses: • Prevents dehydration of hydrophilic contact lenses; • Rinses all types of contact lenses; • Suitable for dissolving enzymatic tablets. Ocular instillation: • Reduces discomfort caused by adverse environmental conditions such as air-conditioned/heated air environments, dry environments, smoky environments, etc. Nasal irrigation: • Symptomatic relief of nasal mucosa inflammation accompanied by secretions Instructions for use: • Separate one vial and open it after washing your hands, twisting the top and ensuring the vial tip does not come into contact with any surface. Rinsing contact lenses and dissolving enzymatic tablets: • Rinsing: After completing the cleaning process or whenever necessary, place the contact lens in the palm of your hand and rinse with a generous amount of solution, gently rubbing the lens with your fingertips. • Dissolving enzymatic tablets: Use the solution according to the tablet manufacturer's instructions. Direct use on the ocular surface: • With or without contact lenses, gently press the vial to apply a few drops onto the ocular surface whenever needed. • Eyelid cleansing: Moisten a sterile gauze with the solution by pressing the vial, then apply the gauze to the eyelid. Direct nasal use: • Tilt the head backward; • Insert the applicator into each nostril and gently press the vial; • Straighten the head to allow mucus evacuation and remove excess solution; • Avoid forceful nose blowing within 10 minutes after administration; • For infants, apply minimal pressure to avoid any risk of middle ear contamination. Precautions: • Keep out of reach of children; • This product contains no preservatives; • Use immediately after opening; • Discard any remaining solution after use; • One vial should be used by only one person; • Do not use the same vial for both eyes and nose; • Do not use after expiration date; • Do not use if the vial appears damaged; • Consult a specialist in case of eye or nasal irritation; • Do not store above 25°C.
