The product contains gentian violet (also known as crystal violet) at a concentration of 1%, formulated according to pharmaceutical standards applicable to diluted aqueous solutions. Active substance: • Gentian violet (synonym: Crystal violet). Therapeutic action: • Disinfectant; • Local antiseptic; • Antimycotic; • Bactericidal. Composition: • Gentian violet – 1% (m/m); • Ethyl alcohol – 10% (m/m); • Distilled water – 89% (m/m). Indications and method of use: • Use as a local disinfectant and antiseptic; • Use in dermatological conditions; • Use in skin ulcerations; • Use in pyodermas; • Use in stomatitis; • Local application by dabbing onto the affected area. Warnings: • Avoid contact with the ocular mucosa; • In case of accidental eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water; • Not intended for internal administration.
