The green version is intended for the contouring phase and is used at approximately 10000 rpm with a recommended working time of 15 to 20 seconds. This type is suitable for initial shaping and structural definition before moving to the next stage. The yellow version is designed for finishing and can be operated at speeds up to 30000 rpm, also for 15 to 20 seconds. When used in the correct sequence, the contouring discs and finishing discs support a controlled and gradual development of the restorative surface.

The discs are compatible with a threaded mandrel and are designed for single use, ensuring consistent abrasive performance and reducing contamination risks. The reusable mandrel can be sterilized in a steam autoclave at 132°C for 20 minutes or treated with a 6 percent hydrogen peroxide solution.
