The sterile cervical brushes in the shape of a tree are used for harvesting cells from the cervix. The bristles in the middle reach the endocervix, and the shorter bristles reach the ectocervical area and the "T" transformation area, where certain types of uterine cancer can start. This instrument allows the sampling of the secretion from the endo and exocervical area with a single maneuver. Instructions for use: The central bristles of the brush are inserted with slight pressure into the endocervical canal while the lateral bristles are bent over the exocervix. The instrument, caught between the pointer and the index, is turned clockwise by hand five times, 360˚.
